About SkillLeap
Training and workshops for people building meaningful careers on their own terms.
SkillLeap is a Singapore-based training practice supporting professionals and professionals who want professional development with practical edge. We believe confidence is a skill assembled through repetition, reflection, and courageous communication.
Our work sits at the intersection of performance psychology, storytelling, and habit design. We are not a substitute for clinical mental health treatment; we complement your existing support network with goal-oriented training.
Our story
The practice began when our founder, after years in media and startup environments, noticed talented people stalling not from lack of talent but from lack of narrative and nervous system regulation.
They created a methodology that pairs inner work with outward practice—clients clarify values, then rehearse the conversations and presentations that make those values visible.
Today we serve clients across Singapore and Europe online, with in-person intensives in central Singapore for presentation skills training and group programmes.
What we believe
We believe ambition and wellbeing should reinforce each other.
We believe your voice matters and deserves training as deliberate as any technical skill.
We believe small consistent actions outperform sporadic intensity.
How we show up for clients
We listen fully before offering frameworks.
We celebrate progress without toxic positivity.
We maintain confidentiality and clear boundaries around scope.
Based in Singapore, working globally
We are rooted at 8 Cross Street, Singapore, and work with clients worldwide via secure video.
Local clients enjoy optional in-person sessions subject to availability.
How we partner with clients
Our facilitatores train continuously in ethics, boundaries, and referral pathways so clients receive responsible support. We celebrate ambition without glorifying exhaustion and will tell you kindly when a goal looks more like escape than alignment. Sessions balance challenge with compassion.
Workshops are designed for participation, not passive viewing. You should expect paired exercises, short writing prompts, and facilitatored rehearsal that respects your privacy—sharing is invited, never forced. Facilitators model the tone we want the room to keep.
We maintain a library of frameworks spanning storytelling, habit design, attention management, and negotiation confidence. Training pulls from that library selectively so recommendations fit your season rather than applying a single formula to every client regardless of context.
Whether you are preparing for a keynote, recovering from burnout, or rebuilding focus after a major transition, we meet you with structure and warmth. Growth is a craft you practise with support, not a personality trait you either have or lack entirely.
Many clients stay connected through alumni circles and seasonal workshops that refresh skills without starting from zero. That continuity reinforces habits and introduces you to peers facing similar challenges across industries and career stages.
We respond to enquiries within two business days and offer short introductory calls so you can assess fit before committing to a package. Clear communication begins before you become a client and continues throughout your training journey.
Our practice grows through referrals because clients feel genuinely supported—not rushed through a funnel toward upsells they do not need. We would rather decline a poor-fit enquiry than overpromise outcomes we cannot ethically stand behind.
Workshops near Cross Street welcome hybrid attendance; remote participants receive the same materials and follow-up prompts as in-room guests. We design exercises so online contributors speak as often as those onsite.
